The world is a mess. It appears that everyone wants to fight everyone else. It seems that there is a reordering of the world structure.
The concerning issue is how quickly the devolution into war happens. Syria was a classic case. Within days Assad was deposed. The rough and tumble now ensues while the powers that be try to unravel the situation in their favor.
We believe that we live in a well-ordered society. We have a normalcy bias. A couple of years ago I watched with fascination while Natal in South Africa devolved into mass riots and looting overnight, even by the police, who were seen loading looted goods into their vehicles to cart off for their purposes.
We have to be cognizant of the influx of undocumented, unvetted, indigent people into our neighbourhoods. This presents an existential threat to the wellbeing of our families.
The insurrection spreads exceptionally fast and almost uncontrollably. Unless one has a well-trained police force and if necessary, military, the spread of unrest and destruction happens far faster than one would expect.
This heads-up applies to all countries invaded by illegals worldwide. Even in countries where there is just a perceptible gap in income between rich and poor, danger exists. The slightest incident can easily be construed to stoke insurrection.
In my opinion, it will take any government time to organize a pushback against the insurrection. Governments have been stupidly disarming the people in most countries and people have not fought back.
Look at Israel. It’s no good having trained people without weapons. In reality, we only have ourselves and one another to rely on. When push comes to shove the police and army will be looking after their families first. Disarmed communities are at huge risk and should be pushed back now.
Close communities with contingency plans, weaponry, and long-term food supplies are essential for survival in dire circumstances.
Strangely, my outlook is very positive. My philosophy is to plan for the worst. Take the necessary action to mitigate the risks as far as possible and then carry on with life.
BITCOIN AND GOLD
My sell of bitcoin versus gold still stands as the indicators still point down.
