Fort Kobbe Vaults offers its clients a complete range of ultra-secure international gold storage options, from Class III or Class II vaulted storage to safe deposit boxes and secure industrial storage.
Within our facility, we offer you Allocated and Segregated vaulting with an option of different vaults to choose from. We have bank-level UL3 and UL2 vaults and safe deposit boxes available if you prefer.
Furthermore, this depository is a Best-in-Class private and secure international gold storage facility located in the Panama Pacifico Special Economic Free Trade Zone, just outside Panama City, Panama.
In addition, Fort Kobbe Vaults is a privately owned custom-built facility that is one-of-a-kind in Panama, in terms of the range of service, storage, privacy, security, and insurance options available to our clients.
Clients are assured that their valuables are secure at all times through the use of ultra-modern technology, 24/7 off-site monitoring, contracted third-party oversight, and insurance underwritten by Lloyds of London.
All stored valuables are held with an off-balance sheet approach reflecting a bailor/bailee relationship and all precious metals are thereby held directly by clients on an allocated and segregated basis, maintaining the integrity of private storage at all times.
Private Storage is unregulated, providing a much greater level of discretion as reporting client details does not occur. Besides providing basic AML documentation such as ID and Utility Bill, the client can assume as much anonymity as they wish.

Storage Fees are for Precious Metals (Gold, Platinum, Palladium, Rhodium and Silver), which are fully insured and underwritten by Lloyds of London, and are calculated each day based on the value of the metals as follows: (i) by multiplying the previous day’s 2nd London Fixing Price by (ii) the number of troy ounces of each metal type under the Agreement, by (iii) the relevant storage fee rate and (iv) divided by the number of days in the year.
** Fees are accrued daily and invoiced every quarter in arrears. Please note there is a minimum storage fee of $25 per quarter. Storage fees are to be paid within thirty (30) days of the date of the invoice to avoid penalties.
