COMPLETE THE TRANSFER REQUEST FORM BELOW AND ONE OF OUR LOGISTICS AGENTS WILL BE IN TOUCH WITH YOU
We are pleased to assist you with the process of shipping your precious metal. First of all, we will need you to provide the following:
- Origin of Shipment
- Destination for the Shipment (Either to Fort Kobbe Vaults or any other location)
- A full inventory of what you would like to ship
- Description of the shipment (weight, and details)
- If a Certificate of Origin is required, you must be able prove 100% the origin of all items in the shipment. Please feel free to contact us if you have questions about this.
- Prior to shipment, confirm with us if you would like to import the shipment or store all items bonded.
Keep in mind that after submission for the shipment of assets, we will contact you to open an account with us, to proceed with the shipment.
ASSET TRANSFER GENERAL NOTES:
- We are only able to arrange residential pickups in certain countries.
- We are able to offer bonded storage in the Free Trade Zone. It is important to note that if you want to remove the goods that are bonded from the facility into Panama, all customs duties would have to be paid before the goods leave the facility.
- Goods that qualify to be imported duty-free MUST ship with a Certificate of Origin.
- The import duty rates are the same whether you are a foreign national, a resident or a Panamanian citizen.
- Import duties on Gold are 5% plus the national 7% ITBMS (VAT) and on silver is 10% plus the national 7% ITBMS (VAT).
N.B. Once your shipment arrives to our facility, you will receive an invoice for the Logistics charges incurred in Panama: Customs paperwork, customs broker, armored transport fees, nationalization fees, etc. **
