A look at the Gold and Silver Charts (22.05.2025)

Middle East Trip-GRRRGRAPHICS

The Middle East is a notoriously difficult place to deal with. Our normal Western negotiating tactics and normal expectations cannot be relied upon in the Middle East.

This is like the EU dealing with African and Middle Eastern ‘refugees’ as if they are European. This is far from the case. Integration of the refugees into the populations into which they have poured is a pipe dream.

In my opinion the same standards should be applied to every refugee as is applied to me. I emigrated from South Africa to Panama. The hoops I had to jump through and paperwork and proofs before setting foot in the country were quite onerous. I often said it would be easier to walk through the Mexican border.

The issue is not a US one alone. It is the Western world that needs a quick resolution, before our Western culture and Western economies are decimated. When I look at the UK and Europe, I can cry. I have no objection to people who can contribute to the society to which they emigrate. Those who are leeches on society need to be in the care of the society from which they come.

Continuation of this process, deliberate or not, assures destruction of Western life, Western culture, and Western lore. It is time to push back and reclaim our rights. The best way to begin this process is to withdraw all monetary and other aid and subsistence allowances, along with all free incentives that allow the leeches of this world to have a better lifestyle than the actual citizens of the host countries.

The cover-up of the seriousness of the downgrade of the US debt market is extremely worrying. It is being passed off as if it is business as usual, while the value of the dollar deteriorates. It has lost 9.5% so far this year.

Stealing from the analysis of Greg Mannarino:
The immediate consequence is that many institutions can only invest in AAA bonds. They are now excluded from this market. As I remember, no entity can have a rating greater than that of the reserve bank. (This is not true. Companies such as ADP, Exxon, JNJ, MSFT, retain their AAA rating because of their own strong balance sheets).

Borrowing costs rise across the board as a higher yield is demanded because of increased risk.

There is a ripple effect which goes to municipalities, states and cities.

Foreign holders of US Treasuries will evaluate the risk and could easily decide to dispose of those holdings or not reinvest in them.

This is the worldwide reserve currency being devalued; a move to precious metals and other better-managed currencies could and is presently happening.

Swiss treasuries are paying negative values. They are being bought because the diminished value in Swiss Francs is perceived to be a better investment than devaluing dollars. A very sad state of affairs.

This devaluation of the dollar could have a contagion effect as other countries self assess and as they adjust their currencies to remain competitive in the US market.

Credit/debt is the lifeblood of the economy; when debt markets seize, no one lends as no one trusts they will be repaid. The system locks up, and all transactions stop.

We cannot underappreciate the severity of this event.
