Gold is trading steady this week, it has been holding in the $4,000 to $4,200.00 range over the past seven weeks. Silver, on the other hand, has exploded upwards.
After a run beginning in May, from $34.00 to $62.00 this morning, a consolidation or pull back can be expected. Worst case, according to the Fib ratio on the weekly chart, would be around $48.00. Next resistance $78.98.
Because of the physical silver shortage and the need of the large banks to cover their short positions, I expect a hold or consolidation in this area for a while. I do not see a huge retracement right now, and consolidation will be healthy for the market.
My guesstimate for the silver price in the not too distant future is about $200.00.
See my remarks on the daily, weekly and monthly charts below.
The interest rate reduction of 25 basis points was expected. There are huge government debts that need to be rolled over, so reducing the rate makes for less interest to be paid on these loans. How long they can hold the rates one does not know. As the economy slows it has a natural anti inflationary tendency.
Reducing rates would normally push inflation higher.
Having seen the abysmal manufacturing numbers, inflation may be subdued.
PLATINUM
BUY: (28 November 2025) Platinum is performing as expected.

URANIUM
BUY: (03 November 2025) URA.

BITCOIN AND GOLD
Bitcoin outperforms Gold (03 December 2025). 22.03 one ounce gold coins buy one bitcoin, this was over 41 ounces almost a year ago.

ETHUSD: BUY: (26 November 2025) ETHUSD looks like it is gaining strength.

BTCUSD: BUY: 23 November 2025. NASDAQ (Cyan). Interesting how the correlation between BTCUSD and the Nasdaq appeared to break, not in direction, but certainly in amplitude, but has reestablished.

GOLD AND SILVER STOCKS
06 November 2025 Gold stocks outperform gold.

Silver outperforms silver stocks (08 December 2025). An early signal, let’s see if it holds.

GOLD AND SILVER
Silver to Gold Ratio
Silver outperforming Gold. (07 November 2025) When we think that silver is coming out of the ground at about 8:1 and the Gold: Silver ratio is 69.39:1 something is way out of kilter. Silver is an astounding buy at this time, even over $60.00 The ratio is falling showing the strength of silver against gold.

GOLD TO USD
Gold outperforms USD, (11 November 2025).

Gold’s low of the week was $4,169.00 and the high was $4,247.00, now trading at around $4,217.00.
- Gold Monthly: is a HOLD. We bought at $1,800.00 in October 2023. Looking overbought, but it can hold that situation for a while. No sell signal yet. We need to see a price over $4400.00 for me to relax a little.

- Gold Weekly: (HOLD 25 August 2025) Overbought. No sell signals yet. An unusual pattern. A definitive candlestick sell, then a recovery. Let us see if the recovery holds. The weekly chart is overbought, the rate of change is negative but no sell indications yet.

- Gold Daily: (HOLD: 12 November 2025). It almost looked like a sell on the daily chart but the indicators are holding. We have sideways movement of the price and some indicators are pointing to a sell. Gold is not overbought but the rate of change is pointing down. I am not particularly worried at this time, but will watch the chart carefully.

The low for Silver this week was $57.47 and the high $62.87 trading around $62.43 at present.
- Silver Monthly: HOLD. (Buy: $24.00 March 2024). Looking overbought. No sell signal yet.

- Silver Weekly: (HOLD: 25 August 2025). Overbought but still positive indicators.

- Silver Daily: HOLD (10 November 2025). Silver formed a cup and handle. This pattern completed then the price blasted upwards. Even though it is overbought there are no other sell indications.
